Still working at figuring out how the blog is to be fully commercial and have talked metrics a lot, as measuring is now a different necessity. That is, how to demonstrate to someone else the value in having something posted about them or a product or service of theirs here?
And figuring that out might take some time. Which is ok. My goal is great referral which is different from the past where I think like on television you really just needed enough money. But here I want something on designated days where Tuesday really is the main one, to be things I read and re-read with pride, like everything else.
So yeah I reread a LOT which also helps in catching mistakes. Sometimes no matter how hard you work at the writing, mistakes can slip through and I'll catch them at times when have enough distance can read the writing as if someone else wrote it.
Regardless of the reasons things are much quieter now and figured should explain. Yes, could go back to more writing but then blog might move in direction of my other blogs, when upfront this one is supposed to eventually make money, somehow.
Where want to do things within my values where won't feel that cringe of not wanting to look at something here where it was just about money is there. Would rather it even be about discovery, having things where am as glad to know about them myself, and audience provides opportunity for all of us.
Grand vision I think to myself, as am typing the words, but can it be done? We'll see. And taking the opportunity to chat a bit on FridayDiscussion day.
